Starting as a part-time business in electrical systems and growing to an industry-leading plant automation engineering firm, ESE has quite a history. Here's a glimpse at where we started over 20 years ago and how we're serving the food processing industry today:
1981 - The company founded by Mark Weber is originally named Electrical Systems and begins a as small, part-time venture
1986 - Customer base continues to grow steadily and Mark Weber turns Electrical Systems into a full-time business
1989 - Mark and Rosemaire Weber incorporate company as ESE, Inc.
1991 - ESE joins the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers
1992 - Company becomes an Allen Bradley System Integrator
1997 - ESE becomes a UL-listed panel shop
1998 - The Food Quantifier 100, ESE’s first analytical instrument, is introduced to food processors
1999 - ESE joins CSIA (Control System Integrator Association)
2000 - ESE is chosen as the first business of its kind to partner as a Rockwell Automation Solution Provider; the Process Quantifier is introduced as the company’s first in-line analytical instrument
2001 - The Food Quantifier 200 version is launched
2005 - Company announces ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program); company achieves "Certified Member" in CSIA; Process Qptimizer software is added to ESE’s family of analytical products
2006 - ESE celebrates its 20th anniversary as plant automation engineers. ESE expands its capabilities to include process design to their offerings.
2007 - Brand new series of Q5 product analyzers launched.
